Delivery system that consists
of a core of silica or starch. Their starch matrix is slowly
degraded by several mechanisms enabling a controlled release
of the inner actives. Thermospheres-15 are specifically formulated
to withstand high temperatures for their formulation in lipsticks.
The size of the termospheres is around 10 - 30 ?m, and they
can be incorporated in cosmetic formulations of 1 - 5%.
