An outgrowth
of innovation first developed at the University of Barcelona,
Lipotec’s major cosmetic technologies include microencapsulation,
macroencapsulation, polymer-based specialties and liposomal
delivery systems. A wide range of capability in encapsulation
exists, including oils, aqueous-based materials and even highly
ionic solutions, such as AHA’s. Diverse liposomal capability
with special expertise in plurilamellar multivescular liposomes
allows for higher loading. Additional specialties include novel
anti-oxidant botanical complexes and synthetic melanin.
