ตระกูลสารสังเคราะห์ (aldehydic)
เป็นแนวตระกูลน้ำหอมที่ส่วนประกอบมักจะมีลักษณะความเป็นไม้(Woody) ผสมผสานเคมีกับความเป็นแป้ง (Powderly) ในผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องสำอางค์ ได้มีการนำกลิ่นดอกไม้รวม (Floral complex)มาผสมผสานให้กลิ่นออกมามีความเป็นเอกลักษณะเฉพาะตัวมากยิ่งขึ้น ดอกไม้ที่ว่าดังนี้ เช่น กุหลาบ , มะลิ ,และบุหงา โดยมีพื้นฐานของกลิ่นยังคงความเป็นไม้ และความเป็นแป้งเช่นเดิม ตัวอย่างของแนวอัลดีไฮด์ในผลิตภัณฑ์น้ำหอมจึงเป็นหนึ่งในการประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างสูง นับแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน คือ Chanel NO.5 ของ Christian dior ที่ซึ่งยังคงได้รับความนิยมอยู่ไม่มีเสื่อมคลาย อีกทั้งยังเป็นต้นความคิดในการพัฒนาแนวกลิ่นดังกล่าวมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง
บุคลิกลักษณะ (Charector)ผู้ใช้แนวอัลดีไฮด์จะมีลักษณะแนวเป็นเพศหญิงอย่างเต็มเปี่ยม งดงามด้วยกิริยามารยาท ออกจริงใจไร้เล่ห์เหลี่ยม มีความเป็นผู้ดี เรียบร้อย เบิกบาน และยิ้มง่าย หรืออาจจะเรียกว่า งามอย่างมีคุณค่า กิริยาตำลึงทอง ยุคสองพันก็ได้ครับ Good (รัก)ครับ
